Case Study: Hardin for Governor of Kentucky

Rick Hardin is the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the Kentucky 46th Judicial Circuit (Meade, Breckinridge, and Grayson Counties) and was re-elected in 2024 without opposition. Hardin has now set his sights on the Governor’s chair in Kentucky and needs a website to help promote his campaign and to help raise money. Hardin reached out to us to design his Hardin for Governor website and help set up his fundraising page.
The goal of the website is to provide a spot for Kentuckians to know more about Hardin and his campaign. It also needed to provide a spot to know where Hardin will be speaking and how to get involved.

Building out the Hardin for Governor website

We started with WordPress and the Divi theme and then proceeded to create pages for each specific topic of his campaign, along with a page to know more about Hardin. Each of his main priorities have their own page for residents to read through and know more about. There are also pages dedicated to contacting the campaign to get more information, and also if someone wanted to join the campaign.
Fundraising is a bit part of a campaign and we worked with Hardin to design his campaign fundraising through his party’s platform. We took his campaign logo and worked it into the design of the website and the fundraising page.
There is also a calendar page to let visitors know where they can hear Hardin speak across the Commonwealth.
There are also several places where people can get involved by incorporating Gravity Forms for contact forms. The forms will work with different Call to Actions on the website. All of the collected information will be sent to Hardin and the campaign.
Since Hardin is also a maintenance customer with us, we will continue to add features to the website once the campaign gets in full swing. We will build in a news section where Hadin can update residents on the campaign as he speaks across the state. We will also help build out an email newsletter that he can send out to people who want more information as the campaign continues.
