Gambill Wood Working is a custom woodworking company that specializes in repurposing old bourbon barrels and making custom furniture and decorative items for your home. They needed a new e-commerce site so they can move away from another third-party site and be able to save money in fees.
WooCommerece
After discussing the needs of the site, it was decided that WordPress with WooCommerece was the best option. Along with WooCommerece, several other options for WooCommerece were also installed including plugins to integrate with the company’s fulfillment system to allow for easier label printing and shipping cost calculations.
WooCommerece also allowed us to create custom categories for products so that customers can search for specific types of products.
Since Gambill Wood Working creates custom designs, the Smart Variations Images & Swatches for WooCommerce plugin was also added. This allowed us to add variations to each product.
This allowed for the site to display different variations of each product along with different prices when needed.
Additional Plugins
Square Payments were also integrated into the site so that customers could pay using Debit and Credit cards. Other integrations include Rank Math for SEO, Gravity Forms for contact forms and Updraft Plus so the site can be backed up daily to Amazon S3 storage.
