About Me
Darrell Jordan
With over two decades of experience in the IT industry, I have a diverse background that includes basic computer support, Email and Server management, and website design and maintenance. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Eastern Kentucky University. My career journey began in the newspaper industry, where I served as a Sports Editor for a small weekly paper and later as a beat reporter for a daily newspaper. Eventually, I transitioned into the role of Chief Photography and IT Specialist for the paper.
I then made a full-time shift into the IT industry, leaving behind my newspaper career to join a Fortune 500 company. At the company, I held various positions, including Team Lead for a Workstation Support team responsible for over 200 employees. Additionally, I worked for a mid-size city in Kentucky in an IT role, where I played a key part in supporting the entire city’s IT infrastructure.
