Bruner’s Chapel is a Southern Baptist Church (SBC), affiliated with the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC) located in Harrodsburg, Ky. Their pastor is Schylar Fields. The church was looking for a new design for their website. The new site needed to give visitors information on the various ministries and ways for them to connect with the church.
After meeting with the pastor, we decided on WordPress and the Divi theme. We were able to build a responsive website that looks good across all devices. We incorporated a Visit Us page that included a FAQ for visitors as well as information about the different ministries like Children’s and Youth. We also included a Next Steps page that gives information about the next steps for new visitors to the church who have more questions.
Also included in the website is a page for their 3:16 Production which is a black light puppet ministry. The team uses a portable stage, colorful puppets—some of which are life-sized,—props, and black lights.
There are also staff pages so visitors can get to know the staff a little more. Each page includes a small bio along with some quick contact information.
Future plans will include ministry pages for the various ministries and missions as well as contact forms for visitors to fill out to get more information like baptism and to bring the 3:16 production to their church.
A church calendar will also be included in the future.
Being a maintenance plan customer of Jordan Web Solutions, Bruner’s Chapel has access to Gravity Forms for all of their contact forms. We will use Gravity Forms to create the contact forms. We will also be including a link to be able to give to the church online.
